So let’s take a look at our range of oil meters.

Braun HZ Oil Meter

The Braun HZ Oil Meter is an oil meter that is usually designed for small-sized systems and to be installed indoors or at the very least should be installed in a protective casing to keep it safe and functioning correctly away from sunlight, rain and other weathering conditions that may harm the meter.

The Braun HZ3 Oil Meter can be installed on both oil-based central heating as well as suction systems with a single pipe for boilers or burners. 

The dial on the HZ3 has a revolution counter which will make a full rotation when 1 Litre of oil is measured through the meter.

The large display is easy to read and is designed specifically in mind in order to provide a reliable meter.

The Braun HZ5 allows for the measurement of oil on larger installations, showing standard roller counters of 0.01 Litre meter readings.

Aquametro VZ04 & VZ08 Domestic Oil Meter

The Aquametro VZ04 and VZ08 Oil Meters are the solution for monitoring the flow of oil supplies or smaller, domestic installations.

Compared to their commercial counterparts, they work with lower flow rates yet offer high accuracy even on the smallest supplies.

The VZ0 Meters can be supplied with mounting kits which allow them to be installed with flow travelling in all directions as they can be rotated to work on either a straight-line connection or at less conventional angled connections.

The meters also have a mechanical roller counter index which has 7 digits. Displaying reads as small as 0.001 Litres for the VZ04 and 0.01 Litres for the VZ08.

Aquametro VZ0 Commercial Oil Meter

The Aquametro VZ0 Commercial Oil Meter is specifically designed for commercial installations. With a larger range of in-line VZ0 Oil Meters available to choose from. Sizes between 15-50mm for both standard meters with a mechanical index and pulsed output versions available.

As with the VZ04 and VZ08, all of the VZ0s can be installed in any direction either horizontal or vertical without compromising the accuracy of the readings.

With a maximum temperature of 130 degrees celsius passing through the VZ0 Meters, even a boiler with a turndown ratio can be monitored under the calibrated range of the VZ0 Oil Meter range.

Badger IOG Industrial Oval Gear Meter

The Badger IOG (Industrial Oval Gear) Meter offers high accuracy when installed. The IOG Meter range is capable of measuring liquids which a normal flow meter wouldn’t be able to do. These liquids may include petroleum-based, water solutions and chemicals. 

Any type of liquid that’s compatible with the materials of construction is suitable. 

The way it works is, the fluid enters the inlet port and then passes through the internal chamber.

As it travels through the meter, fluid forces the internal gears to rotate before exiting through the outlet port.
