The Industrial OG (IOG) meter is a rugged, high-accuracy flow meter designed to measure liquids that many standard meters cannot handle. Ideal for demanding industrial environments, the IOG range can monitor a wide variety of fluids, including petroleum-based products, water solutions and chemical media. Any liquid compatible with the meter’s construction materials is suitable—even highly viscous or corrosive fluids.
The IOG meter operates on the proven principle of Rotary Displacement. As fluid enters the inlet, it moves through an internal chamber and forces precision-engineered oval gears to rotate.
Each complete rotation of the gears displaces a fixed, known volume of liquid. Magnets on the gear ends pass a reed switch in the top-mounted register, sending pulses to the microprocessor, which updates the LED display.
The IOG meter can be paired with various industrial registers and digital totalizers, enabling accurate totalising and monitoring for automated systems.
