Glycol is the antifreeze liquid that keeps your system running, even in freezing cold temperatures, it prevents heating systems from freezing over and it protects against heating failures caused by frozen pipes. With some heat meters Glycol liquid can often cause issues, causing in-accurate meter readings. Thankfully, Sontex SA provides an entire heat meter range which is fully Glycol tolerant. If you see the Sontex logo, you know you're good to Glycol!

Are You Compliant with Heat Meter Recalibration Requirements for the Non-Domestic RHI?

Ofgem has recently sent out communications that requires every RHI participant to recalibrate all heat meters at least every 10 years (or in line with the manufacturer’s instructions where available, whichever is sooner). The 10-year start date begins from when your meters were first installed, most recently recalibrated or replaced.
