Team Updates 

The DMS team is once again expanding, with the latest recruits joining our team. A warm welcome to Owais Takolia, our UK Sales Manager. Owais has come on board to assist our customers and internal sales team. As a familiar face in the industry, we are sure that he was welcomed by customers and suppliers.

The introductions do not stop here, we are thrilled to introduce you to Danielle. Danielle is working alongside our friendly internal sales team, helping customers with quotations, and supporting our sales team with customer service. Welcome to the team!

The employee of the quarter has been awarded to Jack, a member of our technical department. Jack joined us last autumn and has quickly been lovingly named ‘the sponge’. He was new to the industry when he came to us, but his progress in learning about our products and industry has been nothing short of incredible. Jack has also been featured in our Q&A this month – you can read this here.

Product Spotlight

This quarter our product spotlight is shining on the Sontex Supercal 5s and its LoRaWAN capability. Hitting the market back in 2022 the Supercal 5s is the latest edition to the Sontex heating and cooling range. Superseding the Supercal 531 and SuperStatic 440, and already enjoying popularity in the UK H&V market.

What’s new? There are many noticeable updates to this integrator, one of which is its LoRaWAN capabilities, a technology that is sure to be the future of data collection and remote reading. Read more on the Supercal 5s Here!

What is LoRaWAN?

LoRaWAN is a wireless communication protocol specifically designed for long-range, low-power IoT devices. It operates in unlicensed radio frequency bands, making it accessible to anyone without the need for complex infrastructure or licensing fees. LoRaWAN enables secure bi-directional communication between IoT devices and a centralized network server, facilitating data transfer over long distances. Business updates

As the leader in metering and controls it's natural for us to have an accreditation or award to shout about, and this edition is no different. Our team achieves great things, and we are beyond proud to announce that we have been awarded gold-level status with Constructionline and successfully renewed our ISO9001 certification.

We are also pleased to share that we have renewed our IGEM membership and recently joined the BCIA and FETA.

Finally, we have a new shiny addition to our cabinet from Elvaco – Professional Partner – 2023.
