A few of our favourites from our most loved brands.
Whether you’re installing a gas meter in a commercial property, energy meters for a block of apartments, or a water meter in a home, we have everything you need to complete your installation.
We have selected a few of our favourites, each chosen to complete the perfect pairing for your installation.
Gas metering and Witches Hat Filters
Adding a Witches Hat Filter (Temporary Strainer) to the inlet of a gas meter will ensure particles or debris do not enter the meter. Not only will you protect the meter but you will also be protecting yourself fiscally by avoiding replacement/repair costs. These filters should be installed at the same time as the gas meter and then removed after 4-6 weeks, by which point they will have done their job. If the pipework is vertical, with the flow direction travelling upwards, then a second filter needs to be installed on the outlet side.
Energy metering and Insulation Jackets
Insulation jackets provide protection and prevent energy loss in areas that are highly congested, with clash points. They are a cost-effective method of ensuring energy efficiency and they add an extra layer of protection for those working in the vicinity of them. It is worth noting that DMS Insulation jackets are up to 3 times more efficient than other conventional insulation materials, reducing carbon footprint and energy costs on existing plants. Water metering and Leak Detection
A Water Meter will tell you how much has passed through, but that doesn't give you the full picture of possible leaks or over-usage. By monitoring the water meter readings using the AquiTron leak detection unit your building and premises will be protected from prolonged leaks and water wastage. Clients with large site boundaries and lengths of underground pipework can benefit by monitoring both the external and internal zones to ensure they aren't overpaying for underground leaks. Best of all, this professional pairing will provide a BREEAM credit. Leak Detection
Remote Reading
No need to go to the site, let the data come to you. We have the full Elvaco range of products at our disposal and have cherry-picked a firm favourite from their esteemed portfolio. The CMe2100 LTE excels as an M-Bus gateway as it can be used with up to 256 M-Bus meters. The data it receives from the meters is logged and compiled into reports which are then pushed to the client via email or directly onto an FTP or HTTP server. Using its infrared reading system, the CMe2100 can be linked to any of the CMeX extenders, giving flexibility for both wired and wireless M-Bus networks. The CMe is complimentary to any M-Bus enabled meter - heat, gas, water, oil or steam. Elvaco Remote reading
