Witches Hat Filters

Witches Hat Filters (Temporary strainers) are designed for use during the commissioning or start-up period of installation. They protect the control equipment in the system from dirt, debris and any other foreign bodies that may pass through a new system. The  Filter is added to a new system at the time of installation and removed after the system has been cleansed. Witches Hat Filters are easy to fit and are located between the mating flanges in the pipeline - If you are adding a Commissioning filter to a vertically installed meter, we recommend adding a filter to both the inlet and outlet.
