Sontex Temperature Sensors and Pockets

Sontex manufacture and supply temperature sensors to suit all of their Heating and Cooling Meters and their respective Integrators.  The Superstatic 440 range of meters use a pocket type installation with probes and pockets paired to meet the required pipe size. All pockets provide a 1/2" BSP Male Thread connection. These sensors and pockets are available in varying probe lengths of 34mm, 84mm, 134mm and 174mm. There's also options of cable lengths of 2 metres and 5 metres, and to meet larger requirements a plastic head temperature sensor can be offered for 84mm, 134mm and 174mm probes which can be supplied alongside up to 10 metre cable lengths.

For the smaller, compact meter ranges of Superstatic 449, 749 and Supercal 739 meters a Direct Mount Sensor is used with the probe making direct contact with the fluid. The Direct Mount Temperature Sensors are available with a 2 metre cable from the probe to the Integrator. The connection on the temperature probe itself is an M10 thread and we can also offer a Direct Mount Adaptor that steps this connection up to a 1/2" BSP Male so as to standardise across the range.
