DESCRIPTION

The Superstatic 440 Heat Meter is the main range from Sontex, covering all size requirements. By using Fluid Oscillation for flow measurement it provides high accuracy heating and cooling measurement . The measuring principle is also unique to the Sontex brand and allows the meter to operate safely when used alongside glycol solutions whilst still retaining the accuracy and MID Class 2 Approval. The Superstatic 440 meters have been used extensively in the UK on District Heating Schemes and also on Commercial RHI Installations for many years.


Going from the smallest models at QP1.0 15mm up to QP10 40mm a threaded BSP Male connection is provided and then from QP15 50mm onwards a Flanged PN16 connection is standardised. An option of Flanged PN16 connection is also available for the QP3.5, QP6 and QP10 Models as well. The QP Rating mentioned is the nominal flow rate in m3/hr that each meter size can measure up to.


The Superstatic 440 is supplied alongside the Supercal 531 Integrator and a pair of temperature sensors and pockets. Unions are also supplied where necessary for the smaller sizes. The Supercal 531 is where you will find high flexibility of both power supply and communication modules to suit any application and requirement. The meters can be supplied with a D-Cell Battery to meet the need for remote installation. Alongside the Battery option, a Mains Powered version can be supplied with voltage requirements of 230vac, 24vac or 24vdc.
