Applications

Danfoss SONDEX® plate heat exchangers can be used across a wide variety of applications and sectors, including HVAC, district and communal heating, district cooling, domestic hot water production, commercial heating systems, heat recovery, food and beverage, biogas, marine and offshore, chemical processing, petrochemical applications, heavy industry and other specialist heat transfer duties.

This makes the range suitable for both building services projects and more demanding industrial applications.

Extensive Technical Capability

The Danfoss SONDEX® gasketed plate heat exchanger portfolio provides solutions for both small and large-scale applications.

Across the wider range, connection sizes are available from DN25 to DN600, with working pressures of up to 35 bar, flow rates of up to 7,200 m³/h and operating temperatures from -20°C to 180°C, depending on the selected model, materials and configuration.

Plate material options include stainless steel, titanium and specialist materials, with a range of gasket materials also available to suit different media and operating conditions.
