Danfoss AB-QM4.0 Balancing Valve

The Danfoss AB-QM 4.0 represents the next generation of pressure-independent control valves (PICVs) for HVAC heating and cooling systems, building on the proven foundation of the original AB-QM. While it retains core features like automatic flow limitation, a built-in differential pressure controller, and precise control with 100% valve authority, the AB-QM 4.0 introduces significant enhancements in performance and versatility.

This advanced PICV is available in sizes ranging from DN 15 to DN 32, with options for internal or external thread connections, and versions both with and without test plugs. It offers a wide flow capacity range, from 20 l/h to 5,000 l/h, which can be accurately measured using the PFM 1000 instrument via Bluetooth on iOS and Android devices.

Engineered for excellence, the AB-QM 4.0 boasts a clogging-resistant design, supports a nominal pressure of PN25, and enables accurate flow measurement and bi-directional filling and flushing. These features provide substantial benefits to designers, installers, and end-users alike.
