The SDM120 range of electric meters are for use on Single Phase Electric supplies. These particular variants are to be used with Current Transformers (CTs). You can also find a version for direct connection within the circuit if preferred.
Taking up just a single module slot, the SDM120 meters mount onto a DIN Rail. These meters have a digital display for simple readout, but the main use of these meters are part of automatically read metering networks, using one of the on board communication outputs.
The SDM120 meters are MID approved, allowing them to be used for billing and fiscal purposes.
