The GCR Manual Reset Valve operates on a normally closed basis. They are manual reset gas solenoid valves, suitable to shut off to signal danger detected by the gas detectors (dry gases including: methane, LPG, carbon monoxide and similar) or safety thermostats and in the event of a power cut.
For additional safety, these solenoid valves can only be reset with the power supply on, if the gas detector is not signalling any danger being detector and the manual reset mechanism has been pressed.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The valve will not open by simply powering the coil. The valve must be manually reset by pressing the reset mechanism as indicated in 4.0 in the datasheet.
They can be equipped with a CPI switch (DN15-DN150 is an optional extra; DN200-DN300 is factory fitted) to control the valve’s plunger position (closed) remotely. Further information regarding the CPI switch is available in 7.0. Reference Standards: EN 161 – EN 13611.
The GCR range can also be offered in a range of other voltages such as: 24VAC, 24VDC, 12VAC, 12VDC and 110V. For more information please speak with our team.
GCR Manual Reset valves Coster - 240v, Class A, Connection sizes - 15mm to 300mm , Screwed / Flanged
