DESCRIPTION

When it comes to regulating Gas pressures, the J48 is a well known product, recognised by most engineers. Manufactured by Elster, the J48 works to control Low Pressure installations to the highest quality. All of the J48 Regulators work by an internal impulse to sense the inlet pressure of gas entering and act accordingly to supply the original outlet pressure set. The J48s are available with a threaded BSP Female connection from 20mm up to 80mm and with a Flanged PN16 connection from 65mm up to 150mm. All J48 regulators can be installed in either horizontal or vertical runs of pipework.


The maximum inlet pressure that that J48 Regulators can take is 350mbar, with a maximum outlet pressure of 160mbar. The 100mm and 150mm regulators can be set higher than this with a maximum outlet pressure of 345mbar. The quick release spring adjusters allow for simple and easy setting of the outlet pressure without the need to dismantle important parts of the regulator. At the same time the unit can be sealed up to provide tamper-prevention control and stop any unauthorised access to the outlet pressure control.


The J48 Regulators have Full Positive Lock Up capability to close the regulator when the demand stops or if pressure gets too close to the outlet pressure setting, in order to protect equipment further down stream.
