Siemens FUE380 Ultrasonic Energy Meter

When looking to monitor Heating and Cooling systems with extreme requirements the paired Siemens FUE380 Flow Meter and FUE950 Calculator provide a solution that is available in a broad size range of 50mm to 1200mm with MID Class 2 Approval. By meeting this rating for the accuracy of Meter readings, it's possible to use the FUE range for Billing and RHI installations. The FUE380 Flow Meter has an LCD showing the volume data that it is monitoring. This display can be either Battery Powered or provided with a 230vac Mains connection and Battery back-up function. The display on the FUE380 is either compact mounted allowing a maximum operating temperature of 120°C or remotely mounted from the Flow Meter altogether to increase the temperature limit up to 150°C for 50mm to 80mm models and 200°C for 100mm and above.

The FUE380 will transmit its volume data into the FUE950 Energy Calculator. This unit is supplied alongside 2 temperature probes and prockets in order to collect and collaborate all data together and display the Energy consumption on its own LCD. A range of communication outputs are available with the FUE950 such as Pulse, M-Bus, RS232, RS485 and also a function of additional Pulsed Inputs. Similar to the FUE380 display, either a 230vac Mains supply with battery back up, or a long life internal Battery supply.

The Ultrasonic design of the FUE380 range allows for this combination of Flow Meter and Calculator to cover even the largest of application sizes. The reliability of the FUE380 and FUE950 means that it can be used in both Vertical and Horizontal installation positions without compromising the flow range of accuracy.
