L182 Water Solenoid Valve

The L182 Water Solenoid Valves as manufactured by Sirai are available in sizes 15-50mm, with WRAS approval. The standard coil supplied requires a 230v Mains Power supply with the option of a 24v version instead. The L182 Solenoid Valves are designed to work as a Normally Closed Valve in order to shut off water supplies at times when they are not needed or in an emergency. As power is cut to the coil on the Valve, it will close and stop any further flow of water. This can be controlled by Infrared Sensors or a leak detection system. The ultimate use of these Valves is to make water supplies more efficient in their operation.

All of the L182 Valves are supplied with a BSP Female threaded connection and a version is available which is Normally Open. This has the opposite functionality of the Normally Open Valve in that it only closes off once the power is connected to the coil. The maximum operating temperature of the L182 WRAS Valves is 90°C with a maximum pressure of 12 Bar for the water passing through.
