Keeping Up with DMS: Autumn 2026

What a summer! From soaring temperatures and exciting industry awards to new products, racing action and a very successful exhibition, it's fair to say the team at DMS Metering Solutions hasn't had much time to put their feet up!

As the sunshine makes way for autumn leaves, we're taking a moment to look back at what has been a fantastic few months here at DMS HQ.

We've celebrated some brilliant achievements, welcomed exciting developments, cheered on our sponsored athletes and even found time to squeeze in a few team celebrations.

So, pop the kettle on, grab a cuppa and let's catch up on what's been happening at DMS!

Some Like It Hot... But Our Team Kept Their Cool!

Well, summer 2026 certainly brought the heat!

With temperatures soaring, AC working overtime and the occasional debate about whether the office was too hot or too cold (there's always one!), our team continued doing what they do best.

From our busy warehouse and sales office to our technical specialists supporting customers across the UK, everyone kept things moving despite the summer heat.

Deliveries were dispatched, customer enquiries answered, projects supported and plenty of ice lollies consumed.

A huge thank you to our hardworking team for keeping DMS running smoothly throughout another busy summer.

A Diamond Partnership and a Pinnacle Achievement!

One of our biggest highlights of the year has been receiving the Honeywell Smart Energy Pinnacle Partnership Award!

We are incredibly proud to have been recognised with this prestigious award, reflecting the strength of our longstanding relationship with Honeywell Smart Energy and our team's continued commitment to providing high-quality gas metering and control solutions.

But the celebrations didn't stop there!

DMS has also achieved Honeywell Diamond Partner status for 2026, marking another fantastic milestone in our partnership.

Having previously celebrated Platinum Partner status, reaching Diamond level is something we're extremely proud of.

These achievements are a real credit to the dedication, product knowledge and hard work of our entire team.

We would also like to extend our thanks to Honeywell for their continued support and recognition.

And, of course, the awards have given us another excellent excuse to celebrate!

A Fresh Look for Some Familiar Faces

You may have noticed a few changes to some of the branding appearing across our website and communications.

Two of our valued partners, Honeywell and Sontex, have introduced refreshed logos and brand identities.

While the branding may have changed, our strong relationships and commitment to supplying their high-quality products remain exactly the same.

As the exclusive UK supplier of Sontex metering solutions and a Honeywell Diamond Partner, we're proud to continue representing these respected manufacturers.

We're gradually updating our marketing materials, website and product information to reflect their new looks.

New logos, same fantastic partnerships!

Something New in the DMS Product Range: Danfoss Heat Exchangers

We're always looking for ways to expand our offering and provide customers with more complete solutions for their projects.

This summer, we were pleased to introduce Danfoss SONDEX Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers to our product range.

Designed for efficient heat transfer across a wide variety of heating and cooling applications, these heat exchangers make an excellent addition to our existing portfolio of metering, valves and control solutions.

By expanding our product range, we're continuing to support customers with more of the essential components required for their plantrooms and heating systems.

Whether you're working on a commercial heating installation, district heating network or industrial application, our experienced team is here to help.

Smart Buildings Show 2026: What a Success!

October saw the DMS team head to ExCeL London for Smart Buildings Show 2026, and what an event it turned out to be!

After months of planning, preparation and organising everything from stand graphics to goodie bags, it was fantastic to see everything come together.

Across the two days, our stand was buzzing with visitors, industry professionals, customers and partners keen to discuss the latest in metering, monitoring, data collection and building performance.

We were delighted to be joined by representatives from our valued partners, including Sontex, Apator PoWogaz, Aquilar, Elvaco and Honeywell.

A particular highlight was our technical presentation, "Connecting the Pieces: Turning Metering Data into Smarter, Better-Performing Buildings", delivered by our Technical Director, Chris Bishop, alongside Laura Bishop from HI Group.

Their session explored the importance of connecting metering technology, data and building controls to improve performance and efficiency.

We received some fantastic enquiries, caught up with familiar faces and made plenty of new connections.

Of course, no exhibition would be complete without the behind-the-scenes moments!

From early starts and aching feet to fantastic meals and our rather unusual accommodation aboard a yacht hotel, there were certainly plenty of memories made along the way.

A massive thank you to everyone who visited our stand, our partners who supported us and, of course, the brilliant DMS team who worked incredibly hard to make the event such a success.

We're already looking forward to following up on the conversations and opportunities that came from the show.

Less Paper, More Progress: Our Sustainability Journey

We've been talking about our sustainability goals for some time now, and this autumn marks an exciting step forward.

DMS has officially launched its new Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central system, helping us move closer to our goal of becoming a paperless business.

This has been a significant project for our team, involving plenty of planning, training, adjustments and, inevitably, a few cups of strong coffee!

Moving towards digital processes will help us reduce unnecessary printing, streamline operations and work more efficiently across the business.

It's another important milestone in our wider commitment to reducing our environmental impact.

Alongside our existing sustainability initiatives, including electric vehicles, energy-efficient lighting and investment in heat pump technology, we're continuing to make practical changes that contribute towards a more sustainable future.

We're not claiming to have everything perfected overnight, but we're making real progress, and that's something worth celebrating.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making the transition happen.

Employee of the Quarter: Congratulations, Connor!

We love recognising the people who make DMS such a great place to work, and this quarter it's Connor's turn to take the spotlight!

A huge congratulations to Connor, our latest Employee of the Quarter!

Since joining DMS, Connor has become a valued member of the team, and it's fantastic to see his efforts recognised by his colleagues.

Our Employee of the Quarter award is particularly special because it gives our team the opportunity to celebrate one another.

It's about recognising the dedication, teamwork and positive contributions that help make DMS what it is.

Well done, Connor! Enjoy your well-deserved recognition.

Baby News! Wishing Charlie All the Best

We've also had a lovely reason to celebrate at DMS HQ!

Our wonderful colleague Charlie has officially started her maternity leave as she prepares to welcome her baby girl.

While we'll certainly miss having her around the office, we couldn't be happier for her as she begins this exciting new chapter.

The team made sure to send her off with plenty of love and best wishes.

Charlie, we hope you enjoy every precious moment, and we can't wait to hear all about your newest little arrival!

Something tells us there might be a few baby cuddles requested when you pop in to visit!

That's a Wrap! Rokit Rookies & British Superbikes 2026

What a season it's been!

As proud sponsors of Rokit Rookies and Leon Haslam's Affinity Sports Academy, we've thoroughly enjoyed following the action throughout the 2026 British Superbike Championship season.

From incredible racing and podium finishes to the determination shown by the next generation of riders, it's been a fantastic year to be involved.

The season came to an exciting conclusion at Brands Hatch in October, bringing another year of racing, hard work and dedication to a close.

We've also had the pleasure of welcoming customers to race-day hospitality events at Oulton Park and Donington Park, giving them the opportunity to experience the atmosphere and excitement of British Superbikes first-hand.

Supporting emerging talent is something we're incredibly passionate about, and we're proud to play a small part in helping these young riders chase their ambitions.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved in Rokit Rookies and Affinity Sports Academy.

Thank you for another brilliant season, and we can't wait to see what the future holds!

From Two Wheels to the MMA Cage: Good Luck, Ryan Shaw!

Our sporting support doesn't stop at the racetrack!

We're also incredibly proud sponsors of local MMA fighter Ryan Shaw from Retford, who has a huge opportunity coming up this December.

On Saturday 12th December 2026, Ryan will return to the Doncaster Dome for one of the biggest fights of his MMA career so far.

He'll be competing for his first shot at the Caged Steel Amateur Welterweight Title!

It's a fantastic achievement and an exciting moment for Ryan, who has been putting in the hard work and dedication needed to reach this stage.

We're delighted to be supporting him on his journey and will certainly be cheering him on from the DMS corner!

You can follow Ryan's preparations and journey on Instagram: @ryanshawmma.

Good luck, Ryan! The whole DMS team is behind you. Bring that belt home!

Hello Autumn! What's Next for DMS?

As we swap sunshine and summer holidays for darker evenings, cosy jumpers and the inevitable battle over the office heating, we're heading into the final months of 2026 feeling incredibly positive.

It's been a year of growth, recognition, new opportunities and exciting changes.

From receiving prestigious industry awards and strengthening our supplier partnerships to expanding our product portfolio, embracing digital transformation and supporting talented athletes, there's certainly been plenty happening behind the scenes.

And we're not slowing down just yet!

Our focus for the coming months remains on supporting our customers, developing our product offering, strengthening relationships and continuing to find new ways to improve our services.

We'll also be looking ahead to 2027, with new marketing initiatives, training opportunities and exciting plans already taking shape.

But before we get too carried away with next year, we'd like to say one more thing...

A Big Thank You from All of Us at DMS

To our hardworking team, loyal customers, trusted suppliers and valued partners, thank you.

Every award, successful event, new partnership and milestone is made possible by the people behind DMS.

We're incredibly proud of what we've achieved together, and we're looking forward to finishing 2026 on a high.

Here's to a fantastic autumn, a successful end to the year and hopefully a slightly more comfortable office temperature!
