Keeping Up with DMS: Summer 2026 Update
Summer is here, and it has already been a busy, exciting and productive season for the DMS team. From welcoming new faces and celebrating long-standing colleagues, to supporting key industry events, expanding our CPD programme and continuing our sustainability journey, there is plenty to share.
Here is what has been happening at DMS.
Nice to Meet You, Charlie
We are delighted to welcome Charlie to the DMS team as our new Internal Account Manager.
Charlie is supporting our customers, working closely with the sales team and helping to ensure enquiries, orders and projects continue to receive the high level of service DMS is known for.
Welcome to the team, Charlie. We are happy to have you on board.
Employee of the Quarter
A huge congratulations to Speedy, also known as Stephen. For the second time he has been awarded with our employee of the quarter, he has been selected as he is always happy to help his colleagues, keeps the warehouse neat and tidy and works very hard. Well done speedy!
Celebrating Work Anniversaries
At DMS, we never miss an opportunity to celebrate our team, and this quarter we are marking a very special work anniversary.
A huge congratulations to Heidi, who is celebrating an incredible 24 years with DMS.
Heidi has played a huge part in the DMS journey over the years, supporting the business across sales, marketing, accounts and now as Operations Director. Her knowledge, dedication and commitment have made a lasting impact on the company and the team.
Thank you, Heidi, for 24 years of service, support and everything you continue to bring to DMS.
Specifi Events
We are continuing to take part in the Specifi events across the UK.
These events are a fantastic opportunity to connect with consultants, engineers, contractors and industry professionals in a relaxed and engaging environment.
The DMS team will be on hand to discuss metering solutions, product selection, heat network requirements, compliance, data collection and the wider support we can offer across projects.
We look forward to seeing many familiar faces, and hopefully plenty of new ones too at the upcoming events.
Smart Buildings Show 2026
Plans are already well under way for the Smart Buildings Show 2026, and we are looking forward to making this year’s stand bigger, better and even more engaging.
We will be joined by our trusted partners:
Sontex, Apator PoWogaz, Honeywell, Aquilar and Elvaco.
Together, we will be showcasing the latest in heat, water, gas, electricity, leak detection and data collection solutions.
This year, we will also be focusing on some of the biggest topics in the industry, including:
HNTAS compliance, Metering for heat networks, Building performance, Data collection and communications, Leak detection, Reliable product selection, and Future-ready metering solutions.
Whether you are working on new projects, reviewing existing installations or preparing for upcoming compliance requirements, our team will be ready to help.
Come and see us, 14th to 15th October and London ExCel – stand B21
CIBSE Approved CPD Sessions
Our CIBSE Approved CPD programme continues to grow, and we have now added more dates for our online sessions in 2026.
These sessions are designed to support consultants, engineers, contractors, energy managers and anyone involved in specifying, installing or managing metering systems.
Our CPD sessions cover key topics including heat and cooling metering, meter data collection, communications options, approvals and compliance.

HNTAS Roadshow
DMS is proud to be supporting the HNTAS Roadshow, helping to share knowledge and guidance around the upcoming requirements for heat networks.
The Leeds event was a huge success, with excellent conversations around metering, monitoring, compliance and future heat network performance.
We are now looking forward to the next roadshow event in the autumn, where we will continue supporting customers, consultants and industry professionals as they prepare for the changing requirements.
Sustainability at DMS
Sustainability remains a key focus for DMS.
We have now completed our carbon calculations and are actively reviewing new ways to meet, and hopefully beat, our sustainability goals.
From improving internal processes and reducing waste, to reviewing energy usage and supporting more efficient building systems, we are continuing to look at practical steps that make a real difference.
We know sustainability is an ongoing journey, and we are committed to making progress year after year.
Health and Safety
The safety of our team, visitors and customers remains a top priority.
Our staff have recently renewed their fire marshal and first aid training, helping to ensure we maintain a safe and prepared working environment.
Regular training, updated procedures and clear communication all play an important part in keeping everyone safe across our offices, warehouse and wider operations.
Supporting the Next Generation of Riders
We have been thoroughly enjoying the 2026 BSB season and are proud to continue supporting the ROKiT Rookies and Affinity Sports Academy.
The ROKiT Rookies have been performing brilliantly, and it has been fantastic to watch the next generation of riders gaining experience, confidence and success on track.
Leon Haslam has also been having a strong season, and we look forward to seeing how the rest of the year unfolds.
DMS customers can also take advantage of our exclusive hospitality offer. For more information, please email:
Well done to all the riders and teams so far. We cannot wait to see what the rest of the season brings.
Renewable Heat Incentive Support
A quick reminder for anyone with older Renewable Heat Incentive, RHI, installations.
Many heat meters installed under RHI schemes are now approaching the 10-year mark, which means they may be due for recalibration or replacement.
DMS can support customers by helping to review existing installations and provide suitable heat meter replacement or recalibration options, helping systems remain compliant and supporting continued RHI payments where applicable.
As the UK partner for Sontex, we can offer trusted heat metering solutions, technical support and guidance for RHI, heat network and building services applications.
Need Support?
Whether you need help with product selection, metering compliance, RHI replacements, HNTAS preparation, CPD training or upcoming project requirements, our team is here to help.
