Keeping Up with DMS: Spring 2026 Update

The winter chill is finally fading and spring is on the horizon, which means it is time for our latest DMS update. From welcoming new team members and celebrating achievements, to exciting events and new training opportunities, it has already been a busy start to the year.

So grab a coffee and catch up with everything happening at DMS.

Nice to Meet You

We are delighted to welcome several new faces to the DMS family at HQ. Please join us in saying hello to Jacob, Connor, Charlene, Ayman and Charlie.

It is always exciting to see our team grow, and we are thrilled to have you all on board. We wish you every success and a long, happy career here at DMS.

Employee of the Quarter

Congratulations to Charlene, one of our newest team members on the Utility side of the business, who has been voted Employee of the Quarter (Q3).

Despite only recently joining the team, Charlene has already made a fantastic impression. Staff votes highlighted how quickly she has settled in, her willingness to support colleagues and her positive attitude. A well-deserved recognition. Well done, Charlene.

Celebrating Work Anniversaries

At DMS we never miss an opportunity to celebrate our team, and this quarter we are marking several important work anniversaries.

A huge congratulations to:

  • Lucy – 13 years

  • Richard – 4 years

  • Nicky – 3 years

  • Alex – 2 years

Thank you all for your hard work, dedication and the contribution you make to DMS every day. Here is to many more milestones ahead.

Events: A Busy Year Ahead

Specifi Events

We are excited to once again take part in the Specifi events, something we have enjoyed attending for many years. These events are always a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry professionals and share knowledge around metering and monitoring.

If you would like to attend one of the events with us, drop us an email at meters@dmsltd.com.

Smart Buildings Show

Planning is already underway for the 2026 Smart Buildings Show, and our stand is officially booked.

After a fantastic event last year, we are aiming to make this our biggest exhibition yet, showcasing our latest solutions and partnerships. Watch this space for more updates as we get closer to the event.

Feeding Minds (and Bodies) / HNTAS update

The Heat Network Technical Assurance Scheme (HNTAS) continues to be an important topic across the industry as heat networks move towards stronger regulation and higher performance standards.

At DMS we are actively supporting customers as they prepare for the changes. From metering infrastructure and monitoring requirements to data collection and network readiness, our team is working closely with consultants, contractors and building operators to help ensure systems are ready for the future.

Because of the increasing demand for guidance around HNTAS, we have also introduced a new training subject within our Lunch and Learn sessions:

HNTAS – Preparing Your Network (Metering and Monitoring).

These sessions are designed to help attendees understand:

  • What HNTAS means for heat network operators

  • The importance of accurate metering and monitoring

  • How data collection supports compliance and network optimisation

  • Practical steps to start preparing now

The response so far has been extremely positive, with many organisations keen to better understand how HNTAS will affect their systems.

CIBSE Approved CPD – 2026

Our CPD booking portal for 2026 is now live, with a number of sessions already available.

Current topics include:

  • Heat metering technology

  • Data collection and monitoring

If you are looking to expand your knowledge or organise a CPD session for your team, now is the perfect time to book. https://www.dmsltd.com/cpd-training

Breakfast Seminars Return

Back by popular demand, our breakfast seminars are returning.

We will be hosting events in several locations across the UK, giving attendees the chance to learn, network and start the day with great discussion (and a good breakfast).

Want to find out if we are coming to a city near you?
Email lucy@dmsltd.com for upcoming locations and dates.

We are also inviting partners and industry specialists who may be interested in presenting at one of our events.

Sustainability at DMS

Sustainability continues to sit at the heart of what we do.

As part of our commitment to a greener future, we are actively working to reduce our carbon footprint across the business. One of our key targets is to become fully paperless by the end of 2026, alongside collaborating with our partners to further reduce environmental impact.

Every step counts, and we are proud to be making meaningful progress.

A New Defibrillator on Site

Following a recent local event that reminded us how important quick access to life saving equipment can be, we have invested in a publicly accessible defibrillator at our site.

While we hope it is never needed, having one available provides reassurance for both our team and the wider community.

Supporting the Next Generation of Riders

As many of you know, we are proud sponsors of Leon Haslam’s Affinity Sports Academy, helping support the next generation of motorcycle racing talent.

Through our sponsorship we are able to offer customers exclusive discounted tickets for the British Superbike Championship races.

If you would like to take advantage of this offer, simply email lucy@dmsltd.com.

We wish all the riders the very best of luck for the upcoming season and look forward to seeing the action unfold.

Renewable Heat Incentive Support

As specialists in Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) support, we are currently helping many customers who are reaching the stage where their heat meters need replacement or recalibration in order to continue receiving their RHI payments.

Our experienced team can guide you through the process and recommend the most appropriate solution to ensure your payments continue without disruption.

Thank You

That wraps up our Spring 2026 update.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers, partners and suppliers for your continued support. As the days get longer and the weather gets warmer, we are excited for what the rest of the year will bring.

Here’s to a productive and successful spring.
