A Special Visit from Mr. DMS – Celebrating 25 Years of Innovation

It was an absolute pleasure to welcome back a very special guest this week – our founder, and the man we proudly call Mr. DMS, Ceri Minns! Ceri flew in to celebrate DMS Metering Solutions’ 25th anniversary with the team, and his visit was a wonderful reminder of our journey over the past quarter of a century.

Ceri’s vision and determination didn’t just establish DMS Metering Solutions in 2000 – they also played a key role in shaping the UK metering market as it stands today.

Under his leadership, the company introduced Sontex SA and other leading heat metering brands to the UK, while also bringing in the Apator Powogaz SA range of water meters. 

His pioneering approach set the standard for innovation, quality, and trusted partnerships in the industry.

Ceri retired in 2015, passing the torch to the current owners: Andy, Steve, Owais, Chris, and Heidi. 

Their continued leadership has built on the strong foundation Ceri established, taking the company forward while staying true to the values and vision that started it all.

Having Ceri with us to mark this milestone was both inspiring and humbling. It was a chance to reflect on how far we’ve come, celebrate the successes we’ve achieved, and acknowledge the foundations laid by his pioneering leadership. 

His legacy continues to influence everything we do, driving our commitment to innovation, excellence, and strong industry relationships.
