Where can I use my Woltmann Cold Water Meter? and introducing Apator PoWogaz's new composite Water Meter

The MWN Woltmann Cold Water Meters are designed for larger commercial applications, capable of monitoring bulk water flows in both horizontal and vertical installations. These meters can handle water temperatures up to 30°C for cold water applications. Recent calibration improvements allow the MWN to measure water flow over a broader range of rates.

All MWN meters are MID approved for billing and WRAS approved, ensuring their safety for potable drinking water installations.

Standard MWN meters come with a PN16 flanged connection, available in sizes from 40mm to 300mm. Additionally, the 50mm meter offers a unique design with a 2" BSP male union connection.

These meters are equipped with NKOP models, allowing the addition of an NK pulse transmitter for remote reading. The output ratios range from 10 litres per pulse to 100 litres per pulse, adjustable to meet specific requirements up to 1000 litres per pulse. The MWN meters also support M-Bus output, making them suitable for both wired and wireless M-Bus networks, similar to the JS and JSC ranges from PoWogaz.

These meters can be used in a commercial setting: Shopping centres, hotels, schools, university, apartment complex and leisure.

And can also be used in industrial environments: Food production (WRAS approved) and hospitals.

Other options of water meters include the M-Bus Version (Nubis) and IP68 rated.

Presenting the New JS Eco

The Smart series single-jet vane-wheel dry water meters, featuring composite bodies, are designed for accurate water consumption measurement. These modern meters ensure precise readings and support remote data communication modules for easy indication monitoring. Amongst dry water meters, they offer the best protection against strong magnetic fields.

Manufactured in compliance with MID standards, the JS Smart+ has a measuring range of R=100, and the JS Smart C+ has a range of R=160. The use of composite materials significantly lowers the carbon footprint and ensures that metered potable water remains free from even trace amounts of heavy metals. Sustainability is a key focus throughout their design and operation.

The Advantages of using the JS Eco:

·         Reduced environmental footprint with the chosen manufacturing process

·         Long-term durability and dimensional stability

·         Lower weight and transport costs

·         Resistance to zinc plating loss, depending on water quality
