Points to consider and terminology used when selecting a water meter.
Display types: Water meters most commonly use a dry dial analogue display, however, if you need a digital display, we can offer a hybrid Woltmann option.

Communications: Do you need to read the meter remotely? How will you access the data?
· Pulsed
· Non-pulsed/read-only.
· M-Bus
Temperature: Most water meters are suitable for hot or cold temperatures. cold variants being suitable for temperatures up to 50°C and the Hot versions going up to 130°C.
· Cold (50°C)
· Hot (15mm-20mm 90°C) and (25mm+ 130°C)
Measurement styles: There are a few options of measurement style depending on your application requirements, for the most effective option tailored to you, speak with our technical team

Sizing: Traditional inline metering covers a vast size range, right up to a whopping 300mm, while a non-invasive method will provide flexible measurement for sizes up to 225mm

Approvals: Will your water meter be used for potable water? Will it be used for billing?
