A Common choice for household, domestic and industrial use, this Sensus U6 is a low-pressure-drop meter suitable for a wide range of applications. Following on with the standard design for analogue meters, the U6 has a unique feature where the reading display index is angled at 45 degrees giving ease at taking your readings and model details from the front or top.

The U6 Meter is designed for the measurement of gas supplied to residential, commercial and industrial premises and is also usable with static caravans and lodges where the maximum consumption of gas is equivalent to 6m3/h of air of a density of 1,2 kg/m3. The U6 is designed to meter gas usage from pilot light to central heating loads. The U6 is compact with connection centres at 152mm (6”), highly reliable and built to the highest quality standards.

Designed to accommodate all installation situations, including wall or panel as well as suitable ground-mounted boxes that are located adjacent to the property.

The domestic meter is constructed with reliability in mind and supplied coated in corrosion-resistant steel and is finished with a powder coating, it is fire resistant to BS4161 (821°C rise in 30 min). It is suitable for natural gas, LPG, or town gases. The meter is also designed to meet the exacting needs of utilities worldwide. For the UK market the Sensus U6 is Transco and OFGEM approved.

Pulse transmitters can be added at any time. DMS can supply the product with gas meter kits, these kits are supplied with everything you need to complete your gas installation, from fittings and valves to inlets/outlets and the correct regulator.
