Elster's range of Diaphragm Gas Meters scale from the everyday domestic BK-G4 Gas Meter that you would find in most households, right up to the BKG100 which the Utility Companies use on incoming supplies to large buildings. These Meters are MID approved giving them the ability to be used on Billing applications and also have extraordinary flow performance down to the smallest amount of gas.
The QA Quantometers are Turbine Gas Meters manufactured by Elster. Their size range start from 25mm to 150mm. The smaller meters from 25mm to 40mm are all supplied with a BSP Male Threaded connection with unions, from 50mm and above, all Meters are supplied as standard with a PN16 Flanged connection with a Wafer type design. Fixing Bolts are supplied as standard with each QA Gas Meter. Their measuring principle is all down to the Turbine Wheel which spins in proportion to the volume of Gas that has passed through the Meter.
The evolution of the Rotary Gas Meter by Elster have all been combined into the latest range, the RABO. By utilising key features and benefits from the previous RVG, IRM and other models that they have manufactured. The combination of these designs means the RABO is ready to handle a large scale of applications at a competitive cost with future proof design characteristics. The Rotary Displacement principle entails two impellers that rotate in sequence without touching one another. Each rotation is proportional to a set volume of Gas that is passed through the Meter.
