CF Echo II Details

The CF Echo II and CF Ultramaxx heat meters all use an Ultrasonic Measuring Principle for measuring Heat consumption. These meters all conform to MID Class 2 for Billing and RHI Purposes. The CF Echo II Heat Meter is supplied with connection sizes ranging from DN15, ½” to DN50, 2”. All meters are available with a Union Connection as standard and there is the option of PN16 Flanges from DN20 and above. The installation of these meters is flexible in that they can be installed into either horizontal or vertical pipework and can be programmed to suit either flow or return legs of a system.

CF Ultramaxx Details

The CF Ultramaxx adopts a more compact design for domestic systems and is available in DN15, ½” and DN20, ¾” Connection Sizes. The Ultramaxx uses a Union Connection and an internal battery power supply. The smaller design allows for savings on installation costs, such as temperature sensors being immersed in the meter body rather than a standalone pocket style. Just as the CF Echo II Meters can be, the Ultramaxx meters are suitable for horizontal and vertical installation and can be programmed to suit either flow or return pipes, with a quick adjustment of the temperature sensors as well.

Itron Communication Outputs

The CF Echo II & Ultramaxx Meters have various different communication outputs available such as M-bus, GPRS, Radio output and more.  Such communication allows for Automatic Meter Reading on a variety of different networks, both wired and wireless.
