The New Sontex Superstatic 749 Qp 2.5 Heat meter

We are pleased to announce that we now have in stock a new addition to the Sontex Superstatic 749 family, the much awaited ¾” Qp2.5 version is now available for next day delivery!

The 749 is a RHI compliant heating/cooling meter that supports flows of Qp 0.6, Qp 1.5 and, Qp 2.5 with lengths of 110 mm, 130 mm, and 190 mm. It has no internal moving parts, increasing its lifespan which is reflected in the battery which promises to last at least 6 or 12 years depending on the model.

The large 8 digit LCD display allows the meter to be read with ease, however should the meter be installed in a position where it is difficult to be read i.e in an overhead void then there are options M-Bus and two pulse output which allows the use of a data collection system to take a remote reading of the meter. The Superstatic 749 also allows for the addition of the Supercom radio system also from Sontex which allows for remote access to your meter readings through a tablet or I-Paq.

Thanks to fluidic oscillation techniques, which are a hallmark of Sontex products, the 749 range provides excellent stable measurement in order to get the most accurate readings possible. The fluidic oscillation technique also makes the meters compatible with over 65 different types of glycol.

With the addition of the new Qp 2.5, the Superstatic 749 can now handle flow rates of up to 2.5m³/hr.
