Keeping Up with Oil Prices with DMS
Recent drops in oil prices across the UK now means that heating the average three bedroom home using oil is now 18.5% cheaper than using mains gas. Using mains gas costs the homeowner around £1,100 per annum to heat their home, whereas heating the same home using oil would cost under £900.
At present one million homes are benefiting from the low cost of oil heating, and with winter months fast approaching the amount of oil-fueled homes will only increase.
DMS offer a range of oil meters to suit domestic applications such as our HZ3 & VZO.
The HZ3 offers a resilient and robust design. The HZ3 can also be fitted into any existing heating system whilst still retaining its high accuracy when monitoring the consumption of oil; this includes systems using Kerosene or Diesel fuel oils. A built in alarm system warns the user of any defects within the heating system. With a simple to read display it makes usage for billing applications easy so it is a preferred choice for landlords to keep track of their resident’s heating bills. Both meters are accurate by 1% (+/-). Screwed options are available for both meters.
The Different sized VZO meters available in a range of connections to suit the user
The VZO has numerous safety measures to safeguard the installation and the residents of the home such as vibration resistance and safety filter. The VZO is also available in various different sizes to suit heavier flows of oil to support larger buildings and is available screwed or flanged.
