DMS Metering - 5 years in purpose build building

DMS celebrated 5 years in their purpose built building in September by having a day out at the National Water Sports Centre! The staff enjoyed activities such as Lagoon Wipe-out and Segwaying (the photos are a must see -  click here!!)

In April 2019 DMS will be turning 20! The Metering company was established in 1999 by Ceri Minns. Ceri was the first person to bring Sontex, PoWogaz and Kamstrup into the UK market! He built a strong company specialising in Metering, Monitoring and Controls.

The first DMS office was in Eastwood, Nottingham, with just one staff member Heidi who is still with the company and is now the company Secretary. The first office was a small building with a shed for a warehouse. Not long after this Chris joined the team, again Chris is still with the company 15 years later and he is Technical Manager. Andrea came along shortly after and is still with the team!

In 2010 it was time for DMS to expand, and so they moved to Pinxton, to a much larger office and warehouse. More staff joined the team including Deena, Brad, David, Vivien, Lucy and Liam. Liam has recently been promoted to warehouse manager at the tender age of just 22!

Just 3 short years later it was time for another expansion, but this time it was going to be epic! In September 2013 DMS moved back to Eastwood to their brand new purpose built offices and warehouse – with plenty growing room! More and more staff have joined the team, including our 3 area sales managers, Russell for Wales, Darren for the North and Andy for the South East. DMS have also supported apprentices and are pleased to share that Jacob has passed his apprenticeship and is now a technical sales advisor.

As DMS turn 20 they would like to thank all the staff for their dedicated years with the company and all of their customers for continued loyalty.
