The Elster S100 Slam Shut Valve from DMS

The Elster S100 Slam shut valve protects gas installations from over pressurisation by closing off access to the system In the event of the maximum acceptable pressure being exceeded, the S100 automatically closes in order to safeguard any sensitive equipment downstream, once tripped the S100 needs to be manually reset in order for the flow to continue.

Available in sizes DN50, DN80, and DN100 the S100 can be used in both low pressure and high pressure systems.

Operating in temperatures ranging from -20°C to +80°C the S100 is suitable for use in systems transporting a wide range of gases whilst still retaining its ability to protect any equipment that may be damaged by high pressure.The S100 can be equipped with an optional switching device which can remotely indicate when the valve has been tripped alongside a visual indicator located on the valve itself.
