Mechanical Heating and Cooling Meters

By pairing together a Sontex Supercal 531 and the range of Water Meters from Apator PoWogaz, a Mechanically driven Heating & Cooling Meter can be supplied offering a low cost solution for Energy Monitoring. Because all of the PoWogaz Water Meters can offer the Pulsed Output required the range of sizes that are available to be supplied range from 15mm right up to 300mm in either Heating or Cooling configurations. 

The JS and JSC Range of Single Jet Turbine Meters are supplied for all requirements from 15-40mm and have a union connection with BSP Male threads. Then the MWN range of Water Meters takes over to cover sizes from 40-300mm with a PN16 Flanged Connection. A BSP Union option is available on the MWN 50mm as well for both Hot and Cold Meter models.

By twinning these units with the Supercal 531 Energy Calculator, M-Bus and Pulsed Outputs are supplied as standard with additional module slots available for further communication outputs such as Modbus, BACnet and LON just to name a few. There's also the same options of power supply with either 230v Mains, 24vac, 24vdc or an internal Battery Power supply.

The Mechanical Heating and Cooling Meter configuration gives clients the ability to monitor their energy consumption at a lower cost than what is found with other measuring principles.
