ROOTS Different Installation Positions

All meters (8C - 56M) are an aluminum construction and can be carried by the pipes. No direct means of support is required. A Roots meter can be mounted in either horizontal or vertical gas lines. The preferred installation is however in a vertical gas line with top inlet. Installation of a top-hat filter on the meter inlet is a must at all times. The filter will prevent foreign matter bigger than 250 from entering the meter.
