QA250 DN100 Quantometer Natural Gas Meter

In a Turbine meter, gas enters an annular measuring chamber into which is installed a turbine wheel. The velocity of the gas passing through the measuring chamber causes the rotation of the turbine wheel, directly proportional to the velocity of the gas. As the annular area is known and the turbine wheel measures the velocity of the gas, a volume of gas can now be inferred to have passed the meter in a given time. the Turbine meter is therefore reffered to as an inferential meter
