Methane or LPG detector with pre-arranged concentration threshold conforming to the Standard IEC EN 50194.

 

As soon as the concentration threshold is reached, the detector switches on a red LED lamp (ALARM) and the buzzer of the acoustic signaler automatically.

At the same time, the detector operates the electro-valve through a relay placed in its inside.

Right after the danger condition in the environment has come to an end, the device automatically stops the ALARM condition at once. To reset the system completely, just reset the safety electro valve manually. The article is equipped with a power signaling device (green LED lamp) and out of- work – “FAULT” sensor (yellow LED lamp). The detector is also arranged to be connected to additional remote signalers (mod. SE 296/SE 195).

In order to keep the IMQ homologation of the system, use other devices of the codes SE 230/233 as remote sensors.

The difference between the models is in the operating way of the relay when operating the electro valve:

Article SE230 has a negative safety relay; Article SE233 a positive safety one, it means it is powered at any time. A condition change can be also got by displacing the jumpers on the printed circuit.
