Termix compact station type VMTD – a flexible hot water system for large hot water needs. The Termix comp. type VMTD is a complete unit with a high-efficiency hot water heat exchanger. Danfoss thermostatic or electronic control as required. and a pump for hot water circulation. The hot water and heating circuits are each equipped as standard with differential pressure controller and automatic controls for hot water and heating which are pre-set by the factory or to customer-specific requirements. The electrical components are grouped together and equipped with a 220 V plug. The unit can be equipped with Building Management System or thermostatic control with or without differential pressure regulator against a surcharge/reduction in price. The Termix Comp. type VMTD is made in five standard versions. wall-mounted or free-standing depending on output. VMTD Unit with water heater and system regulation. VMTD-S Unit with shunt before the hot water heat exchanger to mix the forward flow water to 60-65° C and prevent lime-scale build-up. VMTD-E Unit with after cooler. also called 2-stage coupling. VMTD-S-E Unit with shunt and after cooler. also called 2-stage coupling. VMTD-B Unit with heat exchanger charging system for hot water tank. The Termix compact station type VMTD from 40 kW to several MW is a highly flexible solution particularly suitable for apartment blocks. sports halls. schools etc. where large quantities of hot water are required with optimal operating economy. The small quantities of water in the hot water heat exchanger and the frequent turnover of water prevent the build-up of bacteria.
